Frank McQuade works in our Clinton office as an associate attorney. He concentrates on criminal defense with over a decade of experience as a former prosecutor.
Mr. McQuade was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In 1998, as a volunteer for his church, he moved to Mendoza, Argentina, where he lived for two years and became fluent in the Spanish language.
Mr. McQuade obtained his law degree from Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina in 2008. After law school, he and his family moved to Clinton, North Carolina where he was hired to work at the Sampson County District Attorney’s Office. For fourteen years he handled the prosecution of hundreds of criminal trials including DWIs, domestic matters, drug charges, assaults, as well as a wide assortment of other criminal and traffic charges in both District and Superior Court. In 2011, he was awarded by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his work in Driving While Impaired cases.
After his time as a prosecutor, Mr. McQuade took a position in 2022 at the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office in Raleigh, North Carolina, handling civil litigation and criminal appellate work for the state of North Carolina.
In 2024, the Partners of Silva, Kiernan & Associates invited Mr. McQuade to join their firm with a focus on criminal defense. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. McQuade uses the wealth of experience that he acquired as a prosecutor in evaluating and trying criminal cases to provide the best legal skills and analysis to advocate for his clients.
