Nicholas A. Ziolkowski works in our Clinton office as a family law attorney. He concentrates in various areas of family law to include both uncontested and contested actions involving divorce, separation agreements, child custody, child support, spousal support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence protection orders, name changes, termination of parental rights, and adoptions. He also handles juvenile delinquency and Department of Social Services matters, personal injury claims, and criminal district court. He and his assistant are known for possessing the skill and ability to assist an overwhelming majority of family law clients requiring services not only in English but Spanish services as well.
Mr. Ziolkowski was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania to Dr. George and Arlene Ziolkowski. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Theatre degree from Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. During this time, he also studied abroad at Queen Mary and Westfield College in London, England.
Mr. Ziolkowski obtained his law degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. While in law school, Ziolkowski worked as a clerk for Lustgarten & Roberts, one of the oldest family law firms in Omaha, Nebraska. After law school, he moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, and worked in firms handling matters in civil and criminal law for almost a decade before opening his own firm. In 2015, the Partners of Silva, Kiernan & Associates invited Mr. Ziolkowski to join their firm to primarily address matters in civil and family law.
Mr. Ziolkowski lives in Clinton, North Carolina with his beloved and beautiful wife, Erin, and their two recently adopted kittens Wally and Carl.
